If you are looking for short term accommodation on Jura whilst the hotel is shut Bothan Jura Retreat have 1 night + accommodation. 2 cabins and a cottage with hot tubs and sauna.
If you would like food on Jura in November The Antlers Bakehouse & Bar is open.
The Jura pub is open Thursday-Sunday in November for drinks.
Everything reopens in full from December and throughout the winter.
Bonfire Night (postponed to Friday 7th Nov) pub open for drinks.

8.30am – 1pm
Phone 01496 820218 between 8am & 6pm Monday to Friday for routine matters and for urgent medical advice when the surgery is closed.
An automated switchboard system will connect you to the on-call doctor if appropriate.
At all other times please contact NHS24 on 111 for urgent medical advice.
In an emergency such as a suspected heart attack, stroke or other significant illness or injury, always ring 999 or attend the A&E Department at Islay Hospital, Bowmore.

Deer Island Rum
From November 2025 we will open by appointment / as required.

The Jura Deer Management Group (JDMG) is the coordinating authority for the control and welfare of wild deer on the Isle of Jura.
The JDMG comprises of all the island’s major landowners and other interested parties. The Group’s objective is to promote the sustainable management of deer on Jura.
