Eat & Drink on Isle of Jura

Visitors can find several places to enjoy a meal or snack.

Jura Hotel Restaurant: The Jura Hotel, located in Craighouse, typically offers dining options for both guests and visitors. The hotel’s restaurant serves a variety of dishes, including traditional Scottish fare and locally sourced seafood. It’s a popular spot to enjoy a meal while taking in views of the surrounding scenery.

Island Bakehouse: Situated in Craighouse, the Island Bakehouse is a micro-bakery baking sourdough, pastries, pies, brownies etc.. get in touch with Kirsty to find out what’s baking and when.

Craighouse Commuity Shop: Craighouse Stores, located in the village of Craighouse, offers a selection of groceries, snacks, and light meals.

Antlers Cafe: Cafe/Takeaway located on the Isle Of Jura in Craighouse opposite the shop.  If your feeling hot pick an ice cream from several flavours and your favourite cone

Deer Island Rum: Rum distillery, producing spiced rum.

Lussa Gin: Gin distillery, small batch gin from Jura.  Tea on the Beach is running from the distillery during the week (see below for more information).

Tea on the Beach:From 1st May Tea on the Beach at the north end of Jura will return in a slightly different format this year.

Tea, cake and coffee will be available for takeaway from the Lussa Gin Distillery at Ardlussa, Monday to Friday from 11am until 4.30pm.
On Saturdays and Sundays it’s a help yourself service from Inverlussa Beach (which will be cash only).
