Walking on Jura
Walking on Jura offers an unparalleled sense of wilderness and solitude, where your only companions might be the island’s deer roaming freely across the rugged landscape.
From gentle coastal strolls to challenging mountain adventures, Jura’s terrain provides walking opportunities for every ability. The island’s distinctive landmarks – our three famous Paps – dominate the skyline, standing sentinel over miles of pathless terrain, hidden beaches, and remote caves waiting to be discovered.

Walks in the south
You can walk around Ardfin Golf Course, Sanaig Forest, Market Loch in the south.
Please note if walking on the golf course to keep dogs on lead if anyone is playing golf. Please shut all gates as it prevents deer getting in.

• Waterproof jacket and warm layers
