Jura Hotel has changed owners last year and in the last months the outside of the building has received a completely new layer of white paint. The result is fabulous and the building looks so much better than it did before. Although the picture is taken on the wrong time of day, with backlight, I think the result is clearly visible. Next time when I’m on Jura I will try to get a new panorama image from Craighouse which includes the Jura Hotel and the Jura Distillery. I stayed at the hotel for three nights, back in march, and was made to feel very welcome, I visited for a day, back in september, whilst living on islay for a long weekend, and the new paint job makes the hotel blend very well with the colour of the distillery. I`m already looking foreward to my next visit, early next year
