RSPB Guided Walks Isle of Jura 2019

Join RSPB Site Manager and Jura resident Louise Muir for an introduction to the wild island of Jura. Excellent chances of spotting red deer, eagles and otters. We will take a route through a crofting township and back along the shore. Meet at Craighouse village hall at 11am.

Walks last approximately two hours. No need to book but may be weather dependent. Phone ahead if in doubt. Always dress appropriately for the weather and have good footwear for walking. Some binoculars will be available.

  1. I’m one of the Archibald Buie descendants. Trying to find someone on the Isle of Jura to find out mote information about the Buie family destination throughout the years possibly before Christ. I did research years ago and got to 400 bc. Also I have a major website with some stories and a book that I wrote fiction/nonfiction. My grandmother ‘s maiden name was Buie. We are in the United States. My name is Betty Bowman Thomas.
