I’m one of the Archibald Buie descendants. Trying to find someone on the Isle of Jura to find out mote information about the Buie family destination throughout the years possibly before Christ. I did research years ago and got to 400 bc. Also I have a major website with some stories and a book that I wrote fiction/nonfiction. My grandmother ‘s maiden name was Buie. We are in the United States. My name is Betty Bowman Thomas.

Hi Betty thank you for your post. I think I may be related and have been trying to trace my family who lived on the Isle of Jura. Do you have any McFadyens in the family tree?

    Thanks so much, Carol Dixon
